Blue Heron’s 25th anniversary season was one we won’t soon forget.

From a triumphant season opener sharing music from our summer trip to Antwerp, to a candlelit Christmas in Medieval England, an array of Renaissance musical portraits, an immersion in Italian madrigals, and a capstone finale festival celebrating our exploration of the complete works of Johannes Okeghem (and the release of our latest CD!), it was a year of meaningful, fulfilling programs made possible by donors like you.

And there is so much more in store for the seasons ahead.

Artistic Director Scott Metcalfe and our world-class roster of singers and instrumentalists are ready to keep presenting and recording the thoughtful and enthralling historically informed performances you love and expect from Blue Heron. But they can’t do it alone.

Like many of our colleagues in the arts, our ticket sales only cover a fraction of the expense of making great music, and rising costs are making what we do harder than ever. And, Blue Heron’s focus on exploring incredible yet unknown works—our unique mission in Boston’s arts community—means the old music you bring to new life with your support can only be heard here.

You can help us end this season on a high note and ensure Blue Heron concerts and recordings continue for years to come by making a vital contribution today. Every dollar helps as we aim to meet a $25,000 goal that will give us a healthy start to the season ahead. Play your part alongside Scott and our virtuoso musicians by joining our chorus of supporters now.
