Remembering a loved one by dedicating a concert
My husband enjoyed Blue Heron’s music enormously. The presence of our friends and family at the concert dedicated to him last year was a way to share his love of that music with the people he had loved. It was a wonderful way to remember and honor him.
As a longtime fan and board member of Blue Heron, I have always felt that this organization creates and presents music that is both important and beautiful. Not long ago, I was privileged to underwrite a concert in momory of my parents. So often in life, we benefit from the love and kindness of people whom we can never pay back; underwriting provides us with the opportunity to “pay forward” by honoring those beloved through music that brings peace and joy to many. I hope that others will join with me in this most worthy endeavor.
Would you like to dedicate a concert to the memory of a special person in your life?
You can do so by underwriting a major portion of the costs of a single concert on our Cambridge series. The dedication will be prominently noted in our program book. We will also be happy to arrange for seating for any special guests.
We hope you will consider this opportunity. For more information, contact our General Manager, John Yannis, at jy [at] blueheron.org, or call the office on (617) 960-7956.
