Blue Heron returns to its origins, singing the glorious music of Hugh Aston from the Peterhouse Partbooks, and looks to the future with two works by Boston composer Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol setting Turkish Sufi texts, including a new piece written for the occasion.

Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol, The Triumph (2024), for 12 voices and ensemble of Turkish instruments, commissioned by Blue Heron – world premiere!

Doors open half an hour prior to the concert start time. If needed for mobility, use office entrance next to the playground on Garden Street; all others please use main entrance to the sanctuary.
