Have you ever wondered what our fabulous Blue Heron artists do when they aren’t singing beautiful medieval and renaissance pieces? Join us on the evening of Wednesday, September 23 to find out! The charismatic Herons will show off classic American tunes from the 30s to today in a light-hearted and exciting virtual cabaret, curated by Jason McStoots and Margot Rood.
Our silent auction to accompany this fundraising event will feature exciting items and experiences perfect for treating yourself or trying something new. Anyone can bid in the auction, even if you cannot attend the cabaret itself.
Why not start the evening at our live cocktail hour? Join fellow Premium Ticket holders and Blue Heron musicians in a lively, fun-filled Musical Trivia contest, complete with prizes. Our special guest host Robert B. Dimmick has been writing the popular, amusing online column of Perfect Propriety, Etiquetteer, for almost 20 years (www.etiquetteer.com/home). Etiquette mistakes in history are just as much fun as knowing how to behave well, and Robert is known for hosting a good time.
Both the cocktail hour and cabaret will take place on Zoom, featuring a mix of live and pre-recorded portions. Proceeds from this event will support Blue Heron’s upcoming season.
