The Chapel at West Parish
210 Lowell Street
Andover, MA 01810
One of Okeghem’s most dazzling compositional feats is this Mass “in whatsoever mode,” which can be sung three ways, each with its own distinct scale and harmonic palette. We will sing the complete Mass in two modes in West Parish’s resonant and intimate chapel, interpolating an explanatory presentation by Scott Metcalfe.
A similar program will be presented in Cambridge on March 28.
