One of Okeghem’s most dazzling compositional feats is this Mass “in whatsoever mode,” which can be sung in three ways, each mode with its own distinct scale and harmonic palette. We will sing the Mass complete in all three, in a special two-part concert interpolating an explanatory presentation by Peter Urquhart and Scott Metcalfe.
