Domenic Leo is an independent scholar who taught at Youngstown State and Duquesne Universities. His area of interest is fourteenth-century, secular French manuscript illumination. He is the author of Images, Texts, and Marginalia in a ‘Vows of the Peacock’ Manuscript (New York, Pierpont Morgan Library MS G24) (Brill, 2013), a number of articles on Machaut manuscripts, and the art historical commentaries for the new edition of Machaut’s complete works (Medieval Institute).
