Friday, April 26 • 8 PM
Saturday, April 27 • 8 PM

First Church in Cambridge, Congregational
11 Garden Street (Next to the Sheraton Commander)

Machaut’s Remede de Fortune tells the tale of a woebegone lover who is counseled by Lady Hope on how to be happy and persevere in the face of the ups and downs dished out by Fortune and her Wheel. We present a multimedia version of the Remede, crafted in collaboration with Debra Nagy of Cleveland’s Les Délices, with narration, projected surtitles and illustrations from manuscripts curated by Machaut, all of the music included in the poem, and more.
