Blue Heron has released five CDs of the Peterhouse repertoire, copied c. 1540 for Canterbury Cathedral, but there is much more wonderful music to explore in this large collection. This season’s program features our premiere performance of the splendid Missa Veni sancte spiritus by Richard Pygott, whose amazing Salve regina appears on vol. 2 of the 5-CD set.
