The sixth installment in Blue Heron’s multi-year, 13-program traversal of the complete works of Johannes Ockeghem, this concert presents a family of musical works descended from the song Au travail suis by Barbingant, including Ockeghem’s Missa Au travail suis, Ma maistresse, and Missa Ma maistresse. The program opens with the Marian motet Celsitonantis ave genitrix by Ockeghem’s contemporary Johannes Regis.
